Construction Duck

One of our favorite (and least favorite) discoveries in our current construction projects is that Peanut likes to be a part of the action.  And he hates loud noises.  Well, we did already know the second part.  He’s okay with having paint dripped on him as a result of his likes and dislikes, but he…

Take Your Dog to Work Day!

Peanut isn’t allowed into the library (unless he suddenly learns how to be a service dog and acquires a blind or otherwise in-need-of-a-service-dog owner), but his heart was in the right place for Take Your Dog to Work Day. I think he thought if he had his hockey tie on, nobody would notice that he’s…

Hummus Wraps and Golf Caddies

First things first, we made The Pioneer Woman’s Heavenly Hummus Wraps last night for dinner, and they lived up to their name.  Mmm. Giving Thanks

Peanut gave thanks last night for his holiday leftovers. Personally, I love his manic, “I just got a turkey bone” face. It looks like he got away with something he doesn’t want us to know about. Even though Scott handed him his prize, and I was happily documenting.

Peanut: Gentleman and Scholar

Most of the time, I can suppress my oohing and aahing about our dog, Peanut.  Most of the time.  But sometimes, I just can’t take it anymore.  Those adorable brown eyes look up at me from a weird pose on the couch, and I’m sucked into belly rubs and “I love you” rhapsodies.   This…
