Scott made epic birthday dinner for me last night, and he figured out the dinner theme pretty quickly. Theme, thy name is butter. Yes, in fact, every dish did contain butter (except for the salad, which had olive oil in the salad dressing, so it kind of almost fit the theme).
We’re going to work in reverse order with these recipes, because the dessert has a birthday candle, and today is closer to my actual birthday than tomorrow will be. So without further ado, may I present Tyler Florence’s Bourbon Peach Cobbler with Scott’s wonderful addition of raspberries (links to recipe if you click on the picture below). He picked raspberries out of a giant bag of frozen mixed berries just for me.
