Okay, so I’m a bit behind with the trendy cocktails. I’m okay with that. I did, however, have my first Moscow Mule a few weeks ago, and it was worth a post. We recreated it at home last week, and it was double worth a post. Then I saw this great ginger beer art, and I had to write about it. Done deal.

Moscow Mule
Ingredients
Makes 1
- Ice cubes
- 1 shot of vodka (some recipes call for 1.2 oz, others call for 1/4 of a cup, I say eyeball it)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (more if you’re really excited about citrus like I am)
- 1/2 cup chilled ginger beer (or 1/2 a bottle if you’re making 2… because easy is better)
- 1 lime wedge
Preparation
-
Fill tall glass with ice. Add vodka and lime juice, then ginger beer; stir to mix. Garnish with lime wedge.
I love that the ginger beer has real kick, and the lime complements that perfectly. I’m just guessing here, but the ginger beer and lime would probably be pretty delicious without the vodka, too. Ginger beer for all!
