I’m pretty excited about something new on the interwebs: Skillshare.  Turns out there are all of these online classes (webinars, if you will) that are pre-recorded and laid out for you to complete at your leisure.  Sure, there’s a fee, but it’s a small fee. 

The classes I’m most excited about are in the Food Photography series. 

Okay, so I probably won’t be taking pictures like that after a one-hour webinar (or two hours or even three).  But it’s worth it to learn something from someone who knows a whole lot more than I do.  It’s convenient, inexpensive, and well-presented.  I’m excited! 

If food photography isn’t your thing, there are plenty of options on Skillshare.  You can learn about business, design, and several types of design-centric computer software.  Yay!  Now I just have to pick a month to subscribe to the website in which I have oodles of free time for fun online classes.  We’ll go with… October?  Hmm.
