Start-up Encouragement

First of all, I was under the impression that my last blog entry was a week ago.  (Oops.)

Second, it’s been a good week for my Etsy shop.  (Yay!!)

I haven’t made my first million yet, but I did make a sale to a total stranger who in no way felt a need to boost my morale by buying stuff.  It was a morale boost though.  And when things were starting to look bleak again, I got a message from an associate curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Virginia Beach.  Guess who is now going to participate in a well-attended holiday craft sale at their museum?  I am!  I’ll tell you more about that when it gets closer to craft sale day.

So that’s it.  That’s the encouragement.  Oh, and I did get a new item posted to the site, which always feels good.  Behold:

It’s part Charlie Brown sweater plus neutral colors plus dot flurries.

More posting soon (about wedding thank you notes), I promise.  For now, I’m taking care of a husband who’s under the weather.  During his afternoon nap, I started two loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, made banana bread to get rid of the almost-too-far-gone bananas in our fruit bowl, cleaned the kitchen again, and finished setting up the craft sale thing.  Feeling good.
