Just a few quick thoughts today.

1) Forbes.com just told me that my degree is the worst choice if you’re planning to get a master’s degree.  That made me laugh.  Of course librarians don’t make a lot of money, but that’s okay with me.  I got into this field because I like it, not because I thought it would make me rich.

2) I did indeed start thinking the beast might be nice when he took Belle to the library.

I should have had a hunch at that point that my future career would involve thousands and thousands of books.

Scott had to win me over without the benefit of a giant dream library, so he must be pretty amazing.  (And I brought the starter kit for the giant dream library with me when we got married.)
