Stouffer’s enlightened me about their lasagna last night between segments of something or other on TV. I honestly don’t remember what I was watching. Hmm.
The thing that surprised me was when they claimed that their lasagna is made with “all real ingredients.” NO! Really?
Wait a minute. Aren’t all ingredients real? Fake cheese is a real ingredient. So is fake meat. The internet told me that ingredient just means “a component of a mixture or compound.” I think I’d like some gravel in my lasagna, please. Yep, it’s still lasagna full of real ingredients.
All I’m really saying is that I wholeheartedly disapprove of the line the marketers picked for that ad. Seems like they could have been more sly or more clear, depending on their goal.
